LA DISCOTHÈQUE RETURNS TO MANCHESTER THIS FEBRUARY
One of disco’s most sought-after imprints, La Discothèque make their long awaited return to Manchesters’ Albert Hall on Saturday 24th February for another round of their unrivalled disco production. Celebrated for their immersive and electrifying music experience, they welcome global disco & house legends including Kenny Dope, La Discothèque Orchestra, Jeremy Underground, O’Flynn, Heléna Star, Guy Williams (Flash), BB (Supernature) & What She Said.
Following their impressive set at London’s DRUMSHEDS opening party back in October, La Discothèque Orchestra’s 18-piece collective premier at Manchesters’ La Discothéque. Boasting an impressive lineup of brass, strings, percussion and vocalists their meticulous arrangements breathe new life into iconic disco anthems, delivering an exhilarating fusion of nostalgia and innovation.
But that’s not all; the lineup features a prolific roster of disco and house legends including 4 time grammy nominated producer Kenny Dope. Known for his work as one half of the appropriately dubbed ‘MASTERS AT WORK’, plus his significant solo career with releases such as The Bomb! & Get Up (Clap Your Hands).
Attendees can also anticipate mesmerising performances from Jeremy Underground, O’Flynn, Heléna Star and local collective What She Said.
Flash will take over La Piscothèque for a toilet party like no other with founder Guy Williams and Supernature’s own BB behind the decks.
This exciting homecoming takes place in Manchester’s grade II listed Wesleyan chapel, Albert Hall converted into one of the city’s most atmospheric music halls; the perfect backdrop for the electrifying return to their city of birth.
